Your Appointment Details
Loan Signing Services
Dear Valued Customer:
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you as Notary Signing Agent to handle your closing. Please read the following details concerning your appointment:
NOTARY PUBLIC
The name of the Notary Public who will be servicing you is Miriam Charles. Ms. Charles is a commissioned, background checked, bonded, and insured mobile Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent.
The Notary Public is an Independent Contractor and not an employee of the closing institution. He/she is contracted to meet with you for a determined/allotted amount of time (likely 30 Minutes to 1 Hour) or more depending on the type of signing.
IN ORDER TO STREAMLINE THE SIGNING PROCESS,
PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:
BEFORE THE SIGNING

Identification: Signing parties MUST have VALID, UNEXPIRED identification such as Driver’s License, D.M.V. Identification Card, Passport, Passport Card, Green Card, DOD Military Card, etc. Please make a COPY of your ID (if you can) so that the Notary can forward it with your signed documents to the appropriate institution.

Pens: Please have a set of BOTH: black and blue pens. Many title companies have preference on what color ink MUST be used to sign your documents. If you have them ready before the signing it will expedite the process.

Signing Area/Space: If signing location is at your home address; please make certain that a clean, uncluttered, well-illuminated area is available to do the signing. A table and chairs should be available.

DURING THE SIGNING

Consideration: During the signing process, please refrain from using your phone, or doing other duties that may take your attention away from the most important aspect of the signing: getting documents signed and dated the right way so that your paperwork can be processed without delay by the title company or receiving institution.
Questions: The Notary servicing you today is NOT a Real Estate Lawyer and is refrained from answering detailed questions about your documents; doing so would constitute Unauthorized Practice of Law.

Answers: During the signing, the Notary will briefly describe the document and point to where your signature is needed. If you have detailed questions or require additional information about the documents; the Notary will provide you with the name(s) and number(s) of the appropriate party(ies) that can provide you with answers.

CHANGES TO APPOINTMENT

Cancelation/Rescheduling: Should your institution inform you directly about appointment cancelation/or rescheduling please let the Notary know if you can: you may call or text (832)521-4606 or send an email to info@notarysage.com.
